Cupping helps increase circulation to promote soft tissue healing and reduce pain. Possible side
effects are circular bruising in the area the cups are used and soreness.
Soft Tissue Flossing
Soft tissue flossing uses rubber bands to apply pressure over muscles and joints to help reduce
pain, swelling, increase range of motion, and reduce healing time. This technique is great for
strain/sprains and chronic extremity pain such as golfers elbow, tennis elbow,
plantar fasciitis, and knee pain.
Dry Needling is not acupuncture. Acupuncture addresses meridian points, and lymphatic flow
to assist in pain and healing. Dry Needling uses acupuncture needles that are inserted directly
into the muscle, tendon, and ligament. This can reduce pain, inflammation, increase mobility,
and reduce healing time. This treatment is great for chronic (long-term) and acute (new) injuries. Dry needling can be used to treat headaches, strain/sprains, plantar fasciitis, pain around any joint such as shoulders, knees, elbows, hands, wrists, feet, and ankles, neck and back pain, and much more.
Spinal Decompression Therapy
Spinal decompression therapy is used to treat conditions involving the discs in the spine. Whether the problem be a disc bulge, herniation, or decreased disc height. This treatment is used to isolate the problematic disc and help to take pressure off of it as well as to restore water and other vital nutrients to promote healing. This can also, in turn, take pressure off of nerves in the area that may be aggravated and causing pain shooting down into the legs.
